This album spawned from a pretty intense break up. Everything from that relationship left me reflecting on, not just heartbreak, but everything in my life to that point, and these songs came from that place. I like to think of songs that go together as "sister songs", and this album is full of sister songs, sibling songs, family songs, love songs, everything.
